Changa Safari Camp are delighted to share some incredible sightings captured on camera traps around the concession.
These photographs have kindly been shared with us by WildCRU (Oxford University) who have recently undertaken a survey in Matusadona National Park with the assistance of the Zambezi Society, National Parks and Wildlife Authority and the Matusadona Lion Project.
The purpose of the survey was to estimate population density, distribution and habitat of common predator species in the Park.
These pictures reveal a rare insight into the nocturnal creatures that are often missed, but great to know they are around! The cameras are motion sensitive and are triggered when animals pass through the stations.
Here are some of the incredible photos that were captured:
Changa Safari Camp is so grateful to the WildCRU team and the work they are doing in the Park, as well as the rest of Zimbabwe.
