Making Memories at Musango Safari Camp

Making Memories at Musango Safari Camp

Travel bloggers, Cameron and Natasha, aka The World Pursuit, are on a self-drive journey through Africa!

At the end of last year, we caught up with them with in Namibia while they were staying at Wolwedans, since then they have been travelling through Botswana, Zimbabwe, and most recently, Zambia. While we wish we could be out and about adventuring through Africa with them, but we’ll just have to settle for admiring their beautiful photography and following their journey through the stories they tell on their blog, Facebook and Instagram feeds.

Here are a few of their recent highlights from their trip to Musango Safari Camp (including lots of ellies!):

Lake Kariba Safari

“On our way to Musango Safari Camp. This is hour 8 through the jungle. Can you see our car down there?”

Game Drive at Musango Safari Camp

“Made it to Musango Island Safari Camp situated on the beautiful Lake Kariba! First step in order? A safari with some of the best guides in Africa!”

Elephant Sunset Zimbabwe

“African sunsets at Musango Safari Camp.”

Musango Safari Camp Game Drive

“What an incredible experience in Africa yesterday. We went on a boat cruise around Lake Kariba with Musango Island Safari Camp. Just ten minutes into our cruise we spotted a herd of elephants in the distance. We all decided to wait for a while to see what they would do and soon they were right in front of us taking a mud bath!”

Lake Kariba sunset

“Another fantastic sunset at Musango Safari Camp. After a great boat ride checking out a herd of elephants, we stopped to catch some of the beautiful African sky.”

Lake Kariba Safari

“Merry Christmas from Africa! We know we are a bit late, but we were in the Zimbabwean bush at Musango Island Safari Camp with no access to internet. Although it was a bit different we had a wonderful holiday watching elephants, listening to hippos, and enjoying a sundowner while watching the African sun paint the sky. Hope your holidays were just as magical!”

Zimbabwe Safari

“It’s the rainy season in Zimbabwe meaning it’s the most green and lush part of the year!”

Elephant at Musango Safari Camp

“We’ve seen so many elephants these past six months in Africa, but they never will get old. They are such majestic and highly intelligent creatures. Taken while on safari with Musango Safari Camp.”

Make sure to follow along with Natasha and Cameron’s adventures as they make their way up Africa! There are quite a few Classic Safari Africa members on their accommodation agenda so we know they are going to have plenty more amazing experiences to share with us.
