Big Cave Camp has experienced the highest rainfall in over 30 years.
Despite the thick vegetation, sightings of rhino on foot are still exceptional and excursions to see them have a 95% success rate in finding these endangered creatures.
Here is what recent guests had to say about their stay at Big Cave and rhino tracking experiences:
“We stayed there for one night and joined the rhino tracking activity. We saw 6 rhinos from up close thanks to the efficiency of our tracker. Even if it was pouring rain, it was totally worth it! Then we came back soaked wet and were supposed to camp but we decided to upgrade to a lodge room with dinner and breakfast. The room had an amazing view, was perfectly tidied and clean. We had a delicious dinner with the others guests at one table and spend a nice evening with Line and Shepherd (the managers). The breakfast was enormous and very tasty. Definitely a place I would go back to when I have the chance.”
