Onguma Introduce Rhino Protection Levy

Onguma Introduce Rhino Protection Levy

Onguma Game Reserve has always been a black rhino stronghold.

Due to increased poaching pressure in our area, Onguma recently invested heavily in anti-poaching technology, including state of the art equipment and training of dedicated rangers. Due to this added protection, Onguma can now introduce white rhino as well, offering our guests the opportunity to see both black and white rhino in their natural habitat on Onguma!.

With this in mind, effective 1 November 2018, we will be introducing a Rhino Protection Levy of N$100 per bed-night. This will be included at the time of booking as a separate item on your invoice and is therefore payable at the time of booking. This levy will be used exclusively to protect our valuable rhino population. We believe strongly in this cause and in order to continue to do it well, we need our guests’ help to secure these animals for future generations to come.

Onguma Game Reserve is excited to introduce holistic massages.

Guests staying at The Fort and Tented Camp can now enhance their stay in our Namibian wilderness by indulging in one of our relaxing and rejuvenating massages. Our treatments are holistic, intuitive and tailor-made to harmonise the body, improving mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.
