International travel and tourism organisation, The Safari Guild, recently announced the 2019 winners of The Safari Awards across 10 African countries and within 15 award categories. All lodges, camps, and operations nominated are found by The Safari Awards to be top of their class in Africa’s safari industry.

Cottars is honoured to be recognised with two first-place awards for the Most Romantic Safari Property and Best Safari Guiding Team in Kenya. These two golds were won alongside a second place for Best Safari Cuisine and two third places for Best Design and Best Walking Safaris, which add to their already impressive awards cabinet.

Going head to head with its country counterparts, Cottars was awarded two fourth places for Most Romantic Safari Property and Best Safari Guiding Team in Africa. With so many excellent lodges, camps and tour operations, Cottars is proud that even 100 years on, it is still on the safari industry map.

The Safari Guild gave a special nod to Cottar’s 100th birthday anniversary, recognising Cottar’s Safari Services for “a century of safari excellence” in the Maasai Mara, Kenya.
