Three Tree Hill now boasts 3 two-bedroomed family cottages, ideal for families with 4 children or alternatively two couples travelling together.
Our latest addition to Burchell’s cottage is its own private pool with entertainment area, secured by a barrier fence & pool net. These cottages each have 2 bedrooms, with en suite bathrooms, open plan lounge with kitchen. Puzzles, board games and art supplies can keep children busy on a rainy day or the children’s play area with jungle gym, climbing wall, trampoline and fantasy house can keep them busy any other time. We have an unbeatable child rate policy (R990 per child per night) to match these spectacular cottages. Children remain children until they turn 18 years old, if they are sharing with parents! Thereafter, adult sharing rates apply. To make the package better, we offer higher commissions over the months of May, June, July and August (European summer holidays!) so encourage families to travel during these months. The weather during these months is ideal for active holidays, ranging from 18 – 22 degrees Celcius during the day, with no rain at all.
To compliment the myriad of activities for children, we have added an additional experience. Archery. Children will be supervised with a guide during this activity. The range is on the lodge grounds, making it more convenient and is free of charge.
Other activities for children at the lodge include hiking, horse riding, nature walks, tad-poling, shrimping, village tours, picnics at the Magic Faraway tree. Activities nearby include zip-lining, white water rafting, quad biking, reptile centre, raptor show, golf.
