Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge is thrilled to introduce their newest member of the team – the Sabyinyo Buggy (he’s yet to be named)!
This nifty little vehicle has been introduced to help with transporting guests from the Sabyinyo car park to the main building of the lodge, carrying a maximum of 4 guests at a time. A special road was built which begins a few steps up from the car park and ends at the bottom of the lawn in front of the main lodge building.
The buggy took its first journey this month, with the first passengers enjoying a champagne welcome to celebrate the inaugural journey!
Sabyinyo will be inviting guests and partners to help with naming him – please send your suggestions through!
A little more about Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge:
In foothills of the Virunga Volcanoes in Rwanda lies Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge, a truly distinct holiday destination with a unique safari experience. Built and operated by Governors’ Camp Collection, Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge consists of six cottages, two suites and one family cottage that comprises two independent ensuite rooms connected by a shared verandah.
Conveniently located within close proximity to the Parc National des Volcans, gorilla trekking is the main attraction at the lodge. This is surely one of the most dramatic and moving safari experiences possible. Other activities available at Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge are bush walks to visit the golden monkeys and discovering the rich birdlife in the area.
