We are in the final stages of finishing our new Guide’s Room.
The ‘Den’, as we call it, will be a base for the guides to get together and discuss guiding protocols, training and animal movement patterns within the Lewa Conservancy. There will be reference books about every mammal, bird, plant, tree an insect. It will be a collection centre for feathers, bones, rocks and stones, which will stimulate discussions about all the facts of nature in general and increase our specific knowledge of this area in particular. It will be used as a guide’s meeting room, as well as a learning, education and information centre.
Guests who are interested will be welcome to visit the Den and help record their sightings of the day.
