Founded in 1919, Cottar’s 1920s Safari Camp has 100 reasons to celebrate as they gear up for their centenary year in 2019.
After 100 years of being a top-notch lodge, Cottar’s has certainly perfected the art of the safari. Encompassing an essence of elegance and classy adventurism from a bygone era, guests get to live out an experience comparable to a scene from “Out of Africa”. However, that doesn’t mean that the Cottar’s team are sitting back and riding on their past. Far from it. After all, you don’t become Africa’s leading luxury villa by getting complacent. Rather, Cottar’s 1920s Safari Camp has lots of new offering up their sleeves for 2019.

Cottar’s New Fly Camp
The Cottar team are proud to introduce the Cottar’s Fly Camp. The Fly Camp has been designed for those that want to get back to being at one with nature, within a more simple but ample tented, exclusive mobile camp – as it was done in the early 1900s.
This experience is ideal for those who want the exhilaration of a night in the bush, who are prepared to sleep in small tents with an element of “simple luxury” and admire safari as it was “back in the day” – full of romance, adventure, excitement, and quality.
